A brilliant opportunity has arisen for an MBT Practitioner to join a CQC rated 'Outstanding' private hospital in Borehamwood. You will have experience and an interest in working with patients with complex needs.
Set in beautiful grounds, the hospital supports people with long-standing mental health issues, the majority of which have been detained under the Mental Health Act. They have proven outcomes with complex personality disorder, as the hospital specialises in Mentalization Based Treatment as their treatment approach. Remaining patients have longstanding treatment resistant psychosis which is successfully managed on site.
You must posses MBT practitioner level training in order to be considered for this position. BPC accredited MBT Practitioner status is desirable, but not essential. You should have experience of working with personality disorder patients, and extensive knowledge and skills in facilitating MBT structured groups.
Your responsibilities will include;
-Assisting in delivering a number of MBT-based groups.
-Holding a caseload of patients within the MBT stream.
-Delivering therapy to individuals and groups.
-Managing high-risk patients.
-Being an integral member of the therapy team.
-Attending MDTs and CPAs as the key clinician for your patients.
This is a part time (2 days per week), permanent position based in Borehamwood. The role is paying £34,000 per annum, pro-rata.
