Canary Wharf Wellbeing Centre is a new private service opening in Canary Wharf in June 2020. The service will provide easy access to private outpatient assessment and treatment for a range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, stress, eating disorders and addictions. The centre will provide a service for children and adolescents (CAMHS) as well as adults.. The Wellbeing Centre in Canary Wharf will provide our patients with flexible evening and weekend appointments available, we enable even the busiest of people to access the mental health support that they need
We are looking for a manager who will lead the business development and performance of a new Wellbeing Centre that is opening in Canary Wharf, London, in June 2020. Wellbeing Centres offer patients the opportunity to access private therapy and psychiatric appointments in an out-patient clinic, and the post holder will ensure the strategic, operational and financial performance is optimised and that quality indicators, national care standards and all other legislative and regulatory requirements are fully met.
You will manage a small team of employed staff, and work closely with the therapists, psychologists and consultant psychiatrists who offer private assessments and treatment from the service through a sessional and practising privileges arrangement.
You will ensure that there are high levels of customer service within the centre throughout bookings, arrival, departure and during service delivery, to ensure patients receive an outstanding experience.
You will ensure that the centre runs efficiently, making sure that the capacity meets but does not exceed demand, and will be responsible for ensuring all financial matters, including client payments, staff and sessional therapist payments, and the management of the profit and loss account in line with budget.
You will need to be educated to degree level, and should have clinical and/or managerial experience within healthcare or a similar position/service. You should have a sound knowledge of outpatient therapy and experience of managing a budget, and be confident working in a standalone role.
