A vacancy has arisen for a Band 6 Dental Radiographer at the Kings Dental Institute, Dental X-ray department. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary group of friendly colleagues, working within a challenging environment. Previous dental x-ray experience would be highly desirable. The successful candidate will be expected to use their initiative, work autonomously, supervise and teach students, as well as prioritise their workloads. You will have at least two years’ experience as a Band 5 Radiographer, ensuring that you will be ready to take on further clinical responsibilities. The department has two Cone Beam CT scanners and multiple satellite units, for which you will rotate through.

The Dental X-ray department is a busy, dynamic environment, servicing a diverse population. You will be expected to undertake a wide variety of dental x-ray examinations, both intra- oral and extra-oral. As Kings is renowned for being a teaching hospital, you will be expected to participate in internal dental teaching programmes, as well as deliver lectures to external groups. Applicants must hold a BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or the Diploma of the College of Radiographers and HCPC registration.
