An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Adult Forensic Service at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust.

We are a dynamic and innovative trust providing an excellent environment in which employees can develop and progress in their career.

This post will involve working with forensic patients at the Edenfield Centre, on the Prestwich Hospital site, Greater Manchester.
It is a replacement post on a full time basis for ten programmed activities, though candidates wishing to work flexibly are encouraged to apply.
The post holder will have responsibility for medium secure inpatients, outpatients, will contribute to the acute referrals rota and may choose to provide input to a prison clinic. There will also be opportunity to engage in teaching and/or research opportunities.
Applicants should have CCT or accreditation in forensic psychiatry and must be on the specialist register of the GMC, or should be a psychiatry trainee within six months of obtaining CCT at the time of interview.
