We currently have a vacancy for 1.0 wte, 8A Clinical Psychologist, to work into one of the Community Mental Health Teams in Bolton.
We are looking for someone who is committed to multi- disciplinary team working, and to developing innovative practice in pursuit of increasing access to psychological therapies for service users and advancing trauma informed care.
The successful post holders will join a team of Clinical Psychologists dedicated to high quality service provision, drawing on a range of theoretical models and perspectives.
The successful post holder will need to have a strong professional identity, experience and expertise in the provision of therapy for people with complex mental health difficulties and /or moderate to severe risk profiles.
The successful post holder will need a high level understanding of the distinct contribution and added value that psychological approaches can make in a community mental health team and the personal and professional skills to work in a multi-disciplinary setting with the opportunities and challenges such a setting presents. The successful post holder will need to be committed to delivering evidence based interventions within agreed clinical care pathways whilst functioning as an applied psychologist drawing on a range of psychological models and principles to meet the needs of people with complex clinical and psychosocial needs.
