UROLOGY

JUNIOR CLINICAL FELLOW IN UROLOGY

Nodal Point-3 - £37,935 p.a excl LZ

Fixed Term -12 months

Full Time - 40 hours per week

The Urology department offers comprehensive care for the whole spectrum of Urology services and is split into sub speciality groups Bladder & Renal, Prostate, Female Urology & Reconstruction, Stone, & Andrology

This post would suit trainees wishing to pursue a career in Surgery and in the process of applying for a national surgical training number for 2021. The post would be a will incorporate on call commitments, surgical training, OPD and audit.

You will be working with Consultant-led teams and will be responsible for the management of acute urology admissions whilst on call supported by a Urology Specialist Registrar (who will be non-resident on-call) and a Medical Specialist Registrar.

You will also be responsible for being part of a general outpatient's team and assisting in theatre.

The Appointee would be expected to undertake a research project during their time in post in order to further their academic portfolio.

There is one position available to start immediately and another position available from August 2020. This is an ideal post for any doctor preparing to apply for surgical specialty training in Apply.

Please note, this role is only suitable for candidates thats have completed their foundation training within the NHS. Candidates without NHS experience will not be considered.
