Job Description

The Children & Young People's Audiology Centre (CYPAC) in St Thomas ' Hospital is part of Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust within the Community Directorate. It is currently the only tertiary non consultant-led Paediatric Audiology Service in South East London. It is recognised as a comprehensive specialist audiological centre, providing a high quality service for children who are residents in South East London. The Service also provides an audiology service from satellite clinics in Gracefield Gardens (Lambeth), Sunshine House (Southwark) and Kaleidoscope (Lewisham). We provide specialist hearing assessments for children with complex needs and / or autism in our Hummingbird Clinic.

The service is a UKAS accredited medical diagnostic service No. 9980.

The service operates one point of administration contact at the St Thomas' Hospital site and has a team of eight administrative staff.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person for a new role providing support to the Office Manager and Head of Service. The successful person will have previous experience of delivering high quality administrative services and of implementing service improvement. They will have excellent communication skills and experience of supporting a range of staff. IT skills are critical and they will need the ability to analyse data to produce statistical reports. Organisational skills are key, and we are also looking for someone who has experience of meetings support.
