Radiology Services is seeking to appoint a new-full time Locum (10 PA) diagnostic Radiology Consultant with an interest in Acute imaging (9 DCC / 1 SPA split) to join its established diagnostic radiology team. This post is required to meet increasing demand for diagnostic radiology services and to help further support the acute imaging service. It is expected that the post holder will be involved in the full range adult general diagnostic radiology.
The post will be based at Guy's and St. Thomas' Hospitals. This is an excellent opportunity to join a first class team in an active and progressive central London teaching hospital environment. In addition to supporting the established diagnostic radiology services, the post holder will be expected to take an active interest in research and development and to participate in the teaching programs of the department.
You must be fully registered with the GMC/GDC and hold License to Practice and be on the Specialist Register, or within six months of attaining your CCT or equivalent at interview stage.
The postholder will have regular contact with vulnerable adults and/or children (0-18 years) and therefore this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
