Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust is currently seeking to fill a number of vacancies for HCPC registered Paramedics in various locations throughout North Yorkshire Area and would welcome applications from both HCPC registered Paramedics and those due to qualify from an HCPC approved paramedic programme within the next six months.
We are looking for individuals who are committed to providing an excellent standard of pre-hospital care, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with a common-sense mature approach to problem-solving and the ability to work in pressurised situations.
As this is a driving role it is essential you have a full driving licence (with no more than 3 penalty points for a minor offence) and have the full C1 category on your licence or working towards one i.e. C1 Provisional on your licence.
At present we currently have vacancies in the North Yorkshire area. Within your application please indicate your preferred bases. Please refer to the attached map which details the locations of our ambulance stations.
Newly qualified paramedics will be appointed to the band 5 pay scale (£24,214 to £30,112 per annum) and will be progressed to the band 6 pay scale upon completion of a two-year consolidated learning programme. For qualified paramedics, post-registration experience and qualification will determine the pay scale upon appointment.
