Do you want to develop your skills, with the backing of a well-developed nursing and multi-disciplinary team, and have the opportunity to participate in appropriate training for this role? If the answer is yes, we have Healthcare Worker vacancies at the Trevor Gibbens Unit, Maidstone. The unit is not a prison; it is a secure hospital that specialises in the assessment and treatment of people with mental health conditions who have committed serious offences. Contact us for further information or to arrange an informal visit on Applyand ask for Tanya Kierznowski. We are seeking to recruit a number of enthusiastic and motivated Healthcare Workers, who have an interest in providing care to this group. Your main duties will be:

- Promoting healthy living, ie, exercise, diet etc.
- Ensuring the safety of patients, staff, visitors and the public at all times.
- Motivating patients to reintegrate into the community and community services. For example, you may support a patient to go to the supermarket, gym, dentist and leisure activities. All the things you may take for granted. Knowledge and Experience Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing and be willing to develop knowledge and skills. It is essential that you are able to travel between bases in a timely manner and be able to work a full range of day and night shifts.
