Job Description

The Day Case Unit at Queen Mary's Hospital is looking for an enthusiasticand highly motivated person tojoin our team.

Prior experiencein endoscopydecontamination isdesirable but not essential.

You should have either a previous health care assistant experience or level III NVQ in Care or show a willingness to learn. You will be expected to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills with a strong sense of initiative and the ability to prioritise a workload in the face of competing demands. You will be a strong team player, self motivated and able to keep a level head in a demanding and constantly changing environment

You will be responsible for reprocessingendoscopes for thedepartment and providing high quality support to the registered nurses, multidisciplinary team and patients. You will be rotated through our decontamination and recovery areas with scope to join the theatre team.
