Newcross Healthcare is seeking dedicated Student Nurses to take on the role of a Care Assistant to provide care and support to our service users in Canterbury and the surrounding areas.

What will I do?

As a Care Assistant, you will be working closely with our service users and assist them with a variety of daily living activities. The tasks that you will be supporting with include personal care, clinical needs, washing, dressing, toileting, social integration activities and any additional services needed.

If you have a NVQ2 / SVQ2 in Health and Social Care or currently work in a care assistant job you could be fast tracked through our recruitment process.

What will I require?

  • The right to live and work in the UK
  • At least 3 months' previous care experience
  • Certification in a practical Moving and Handling course completed within the past 12 months, or you are willing to complete one with Newcross Healthcare
  • You will need to have access to a smart phone or device with internet access to manage your rotas and timesheets on our HealthForceGo app
  • Access to your own vehicle is desirable, but not mandatory
