Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated occupational therapist to join an established multidisciplinary, multi agency team working with adults with learning disabilities within the London borough of Lewisham. Our community services have recently been rated Outstanding by CQC.

The community learning disability team includes an audiologist, learning disability nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and speech and language therapists. There are also psychologists, psychiatrists, behaviour support specialists and community psychiatric nurses employed by South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, and social workers employed by the local council.

We are seeking to recruit an occupational therapist who is keen to join an established three borough team of occupational therapists, who are committed to providing a top quality service to the people we work with, based on the best available evidence. This is achieved through direct case work, working with carers and training support staff. further develop their skills in working with adults with learning disabilities, within whilst receiving excellent training and development opportunities.
