An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the Health and Justice division of our Specialist Services Network. GMMH delivers systematic and high quality specialist forensic services for the assessment and treatment of men and women with mental disorder. Currently, Health and Justice Services support numerous partnerships within Her Majesty's Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) across the North of England, including Offender Personality Disorder (OPD) Pathway services in the Women's Estate.
The service at HMP Styal (ADAPT) aims to support women with complex personality difficulties, and to meet the aims of the OPD strategy. This is achieved largely through working with the staff of Styal, in supporting them to develop their knowledge and understanding of personality related difficulties, and to enhance their skills and competencies. The service based at Rivendell Unit at HMP & YOI New Hall near Wakefield is an Offender Personality Disorder treatment Service for 16 women.
We would like to recruit a suitable candidate to replace the outgoing Clinical Lead and to take psychological services for women with personality problems linked to their offending behaviour forward into the next decade and beyond.
We wish to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Consultant Clinical Psychologist to work leading a diverse team of 5 whole- and part-time practitioners (spanning clinical and forensic psychology) providing highly expert input into the Rivendell Service and ADAPT services. We welcome applications from those already in consultant roles or with experience of working in leadership roles at 8b. A high level of clinical expertise as well as leadership skills are sought in the successful candidate.
**Please note, this vacancy may be closed at any time if sufficient applications have been received**
