Job Description

Counsellor - Manchester

Pay Rate: £22 per hour

Starting: ASAP

Length: 3 month contract

If you are available within the next 4 weeks, Sugarman have a great opportunity available to work as a Qualified Counsellor working in the NHS in Manchester.

As a Counsellor you will be working within a primary care service (IAPT). You will be providing initial assessments and treatments to individuals who suffer from mild to moderate mental health difficulties. Within this role, you may also be required to attend regular meetings and you will receive regular supervision.

You must have the below requirements to work as a Counsellor:

  • Full Counsellor qualification (recognised by the BACP)
  • Must have IAPT experience
  • Must be accredited or have membership to BACP
  • Must have mental health experience
  • High standards in written and oral communication
