Job Description

We are expanding our medical secretarial team, and have a vacancy for a part time Medical Support Secretary to join our Cardiac services team in the Bristol Heart Institute (BHI).

BHI provides specialist care for patients with heart conditions. The three main specialties are Cardiology, Cardiac surgery, and Congenital heart defects.

The role is in part of a team which provides an efficient and effective patient-focused secretarial service for the consultants and multi-disciplinary teams.

The successful applicant will be working within the Medical Secretarial Team based in the cardiac services Team. Key tasks will include audio typing and transcription of clinical and correspondence letters. the successful applicant will be a key part of the team, driving forward service improvement and patient focused care.
