Trust Junior Clinical Fellow - Emergency Medicine

Fixed Term – 6 months

We have three questions for you:
  • Are you a dynamic, motivated doctor seeking a broad experience of inner-city emergency medicine at junior doctor level (ST1+)
  • Can you demonstrate previous UK emergency medicine experience?
  • Does your work consistently uphold our Trust values of safety, kindness, teamwork, and improving?

  • If you answered “yes to all the above, then we want your contribution to our dedicated, friendly, team. Come to UCLH and help us deliver excellent emergency and urgent care.

    We are offering a fixed term appointment, starting as soon as possible, initially for 6 months but with potential to extend this. This post is currently banded at 1A and attracts the full inner London weighting. We know that doctors have lives outside of work, so we are positive about flexible working: talk to us if this is something you would like to consider.


    You must have (essential):
    • full registration with the GMC;
    • at least two years’ post-graduation clinical experience;
    • at least three months’ experience in adult & paediatric emergency medicine;
    • up-to-date certification in ALS or ACLS.

    Candidates not fulfilling these essential criteria will not be shortlisted for interview.

    You should preferably also have (desirable):
    • work-based assessments in at least five ACCS “major presentations” and at least eight “acute presentations”;
    • MRCEM, MRCP, MRCS, MRCGP, or primary FRCA.
