Job Description

UCLH has a world class cancer service supported by an excellent chemotherapy service that delivers safe and high quality care. UCLH has a commitment to the training, education and continuing professional development of all staff from all professions and specialties involved in the administration of chemotherapy. Chemotherapy is made in MHRA accredited premises, and it is administered in Children and Young People’s Cancer Service (CYPCS), and adult inpatient wards and outpatient daycare areas.

A talented and motivated Assistant Quality Manager is sought to support the further development of the quality management system and service improvement within Chemotherapy. The post holder should have excellent IT skills, be well organized and methodical with good communicate skills. On the job training for Quality Management software will be provided if necessary.

The post holder will work in direct support of the Quality and Service Improvement Manager, Clinical Leads, General Manager and wider cancer management team to ensure that the service objectives are achieved in a timely fashion in line with key Trust Priorities and prevailing best practice or accreditation, licensing or regulatory requirements.
