What you'll be doing
You will deliver a high quality comprehensive clinical neurophysiological service through the management of clinical governance, performance management, information governance and specific development of the neurophysiology service which as been established in the delivery of neurophysiology services in a wide range of neurological conditions to patients of all age groups.

What's a typical day?
You will continually monitor and maintain the delivery of high quality of Neurophysiological services to service users. These include referring consultants, general practitioners and patients, working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to ensure service(s) meet changing healthcare needs and managing provision of offsite services to other institutions or organizations with no access to Neurophysiology services. You will provide visible support and assistance to Neurophysiological staff in dealing with difficult and conflicting situations including those that are of a clinical/professional nature. You will help to initiate/participate, plan and implement policies. You will draft standard operating procedures which are in alignment with professional guidelines.

Who we're looking for?

  • High level of expertise, and be familiar with all clinical functions of the Neurophysiology and Lung & Sleep Departments
  • You will have a BSc (Hons) in Clinical Physiology, or equivalent formal specialist training
  • Current ILS certifcation
