Job Description

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated person to join our Patient Pathway Coordinator / Medical secretary team inNeuroradiology at St. George’s Hospital.

The post involves liaising with clinicians to agree dates for admissions, contacting, and booking patients. It will also involve cancelling and rescheduling patient admissions and clinics where necessary.

The post holder will manage waiting lists; undertake validation of the data and escalating any issues to the service manager. The post holder must be comfortable engaging with patients as well as clinical teams.

The successful candidate will need to be organised and confident and be able to multi-task and prioritise work. Previous experience as a patient pathway co-ordinator ormedical secretarywill be beneficial as will a working knowledge of the Cerner Millennium system.
