Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a therapist who is keen to work with the EDIT population to join our small Wigan EDIT service.
The post is a permanent position within a supportive and friendly team. The post involves the provision of specialist psychological assessment and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for people (aged 14-35 years) considered to be at high risk of developing psychosis, and people who are identified as experiencing their first episode of Bipolar disorder.
The post is based in the Ashton, Wigan and Leigh Early Detection and Intervention Team (EDIT), a preventative service for young people with an 'at risk mental state'. However the post holder may be expected to provide cover to the Salford EDIT team when required. Full training and support will be given to the successful candidates.
