Salary: £30,401 to £37,267 per annum / pro rata

Are you looking to develop your career as a Band 6 Dietitian working within the field of gastroenterology in a dynamic acute hospital setting?
We are recruiting for a Senior Dietitian who shares our ambition and vision to deliver the Best of Care by the Best People and has the drive to take us forward, by ensuring that the Trust continues to be the first choice for patients and our staff.
The role will allow the post-holder to focus solely on developing their clinical experience in the acute setting and in their specialist fields while working closely with our community partners to ensure consistency of care on discharge.
As a Senior Dietitian you will work in partnership with a large team of therapists and specifically in an expanding dietetic team, you will be responsible for providing a confident clinical service to complex patient groups, and be a key part of gastroenterology and IBD MDTs and nutrition rounds.
The successful post holder will have the opportunity to gain experience in a variety of clinical conditions, as well as working alongside experienced Dietitians in critical care/ICU. You will support the development of band 5 Dietitians, supervise student placements and Dietetic Assistants, as well as playing a key role in raising the profile of dietetics across the trust and within the MDT.
