The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust is one of the UK's leading providers of non-surgical cancer treatment including pioneering chemotherapy, radiotherapy and eye proton therapy. The trust employs more than 1,200 staff members we cover a population of 2.4 million throughout Merseyside, Cheshire, North Wales, the Isle of Man and parts of Lancashire.
Caring for over 7,600 inpatients each year, our extensive network of clinics at 15 local hospitals provides highly-specialist cancer care at almost Apply outpatient appointments annually. The Trust has recently invested £162 million in a new cancer hospital in the heart of Liverpool due to open in spring next year. The hospital will be based alongside the University of Liverpool and the royal Liverpool Universtiy Hospital to ensure every patient receives truly outstanding care and can access the most advanced treatments and clinical trials.
This role is an exciting opportunity to become an Advanced Pharmacist - Non Medical Prescriber within a dynamic cancer hospital team. This job would be suitable to a person seeking a rewarding and challenging job looking to improve medicines optimisation for all of our patients. Oncology experience is desirable however is not essential as full training can be offered in house.
The post holder will be involved in providing care to patients at our chemotherapy and radiotherapy hub. This will mean that you will be supporting prescribing within an individual hub, managing your own case load and providing medicines optimisation to those in need.
