Ophthalmology Registered Nurse, Kent, Full Time, up to £32,000pa + Benefits
The Key details are - I am recruiting for a Registered Nurse who specialises and have extensive experience within Ophthalmology to join a Private Hospital located in Kent to join an eye unit on a full time permanent basis. This unit has been completed to a high spec with modern and contemporary design it enjoys the benefits to up to date modern technology with private parking.
Location: Kent - Benenden - within easy access via Train, Bus and car with car park
Salary: £26,000 - £32,000 per annum / £13.33 - £16.41 per hour based on 37.5 hours per week.
Hours: Full Time available - 37.5 Hours Per Week

Further Details about the Role: I am looking to recruit an Ophthalmology Registered Nurse to provide high standards of Peri-operative care, following hospital guidelines and protocols, promoting a patient-focused approach to care. Where necessary, and appropriate to the department, prepare and facilitate theatre lists including entering patient information on IT systems. Ensure patient care areas are safe, fit for purpose and effectively maintained. Assist the Ophthalmic Theatre procedures as a Scrub or Recovery Nurse. General supervision of junior members of the team, including providing clinical supervision/act as a mentor. Providing outstanding nursing interventions and care to all patients accessing the service. Maintain the safe custody of medications and controlled drugs.
Person Specification: I am looking for the successful applicant for this Ophthalmology Registered Nurse opportunity to possess a full without restrictions NMC registration. Proven experience within Ophthalmology. ALRT/ Immediate Life Support training or a willingness to undertake training. Strong IT Skills. Proven ability to undertake multiple tasks under pressure. Mentorship training or a willingness to undertake training. The post holder will participate in the departments shift pattern and may be required to work shifts, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
