Job Description

An exciting opportunity for a Biomedical Scientist in Clinical Biochemistry has now arisen in the Reference Biochemistry Laboratories at King's College Hospital.

This Biomedical Scientist post (band 5/6 AfC equivalent, dependent on experience / qualifications) offers candidates to further develop their specialist knowledge and skills in specialist areas of Clinical Biochemistry.

You will be part of the team that provides service delivery using latest technology (HPLC, mass spectrometry, immunoassay) in a variety of laboratories at King's College Hospital (Toxicology, Trace Elements, Metabolic, Immunochemistry, Porphyrins, GI, Steroids, Diabetes, POCT).

Applicants must have previous laboratory experience and HCPC registration, and preferably have obtained their IBMS Specialist Portfolio. This is a fantastic and exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual to work as part of a dedicated and friendly team.
