Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Evelina London Children's Hospital as Assistant Service Manager for Therapies services. Evelina London Therapies consists of Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Speech & Language Therapy, Dietetics and Physiotherapy at Evelina London Children's Hospital. This new role is an exciting chance to work closely with the service manager to support these services that have not had consistent operational management in the past. This role is an excellent opportunity to work with the clinical leads and service manager to create and implement new pathways and processes.

The post demands a proactive and creative approach in order tosupport the services across Evelina London and ensure the smooth running of the five services across both outpatient and inpatient environments in a demanding and rewardingatmosphere.

The successful candidate will be adaptable, have excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, have excellent communication skills, a good attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. The post holder will be responsible for the line management of the A&C team and will also work closely with the clinical leads and teams. The post holder must be IT literate and have the ability to navigate trust IT systems as well as monitor the utilisation of outpatient clinics for some services.

They will work well as part of a team, be professional and personable at all times, able to multi-task as well as being able to work under pressure. Candidates must be flexible to the needs of the service, attend meetings as and when necessary and have excellent communication skills.
