Advanced Pharmacist - Non Medical Prescriber
The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust is one of the UK's leading providers of non-surgical cancer treatment including pioneering chemotherapy, radiotherapy and eye proton therapy.
Employing more than 1,200 staff members we cover a population of 2.4million people in Merseyside, Cheshire, North Wales, the Isle of Man and parts of Lancashire.
Caring for over 7,600 inpatients each year, our extensive network of clinics at 15 local hospitals provides highly-specialist cancer care at almost Apply outpatient appointments annually.
We are currently embarking on an £162 million investment in facilities including a new cancer hospital in the heart of Liverpool due to open next year. An exciting opportunity to become an Advanced Pharmacist - Non Medical Prescriber within dynamic cancer hospital pharmacy team. This job would be suitable to a person seeking a rewarding and challenging job looking to improve medicines optimisation for all of our patients.

The postholder will be involved in providing care to a patients at our chemotherapy and radiotherapy hub across our network. This will mean that you will be supporting prescribing within the individual hub, managing your own case load and providing medicines optimisation to those in need.

Oncology experience is desirable however not essential as full training can be offered in house.

The postholder will be part of a fabulous team with pharmacist prescribers, medicines management technicians specialist pharmacists, rotational technicians, assistants and a cohort of band six pharmacists. We have close links with our medical colleagues who you will be working with closely. We have close links with BOPA and LJMU.
