Job Type: Substantive (18.75 hours)
We are looking to recruit a Clinical / Counselling Psychologist to our Mental Health Treatment Team to work alongside other multidisciplinary colleagues. The team works with adults with severe and enduring mental health issues across the clinical spectrum, including complex personality disorder, bi-polar and psychosis.
We offer both individual and group based interventions. There is a strong multi-disciplinary ethos and psychologists offer supervision, joint working and consultancy to their colleagues.
You will be supported by a Principal Psychologist within the team and work alongside other psychologists in the wider Community Psychology service. With the Principal Psychologist you will be involved in the development of the care pathways for the intervention of clients within the service.
You will have the opportunity to teach in the in-house CBT training course, to be involved with the Recovery College and work alongside Volunteer / Experts by Experience. Currently psychologists within the service offer Systemic, CAT, and CBT interventions and we have a DBT service.
We welcome applications from newly qualified psychologists and from those with more experience. Depending on your interests and level of experience we will support your development through the preceptorship process.
