An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, dynamic and forward-thinking Specialist Speech and Language Therapists with excellent clinical, supervisory and organisational skills to join our experienced Speech and Language Therapy Team at Manchester Royal Infirmary.
You should have evidence of post graduate dysphagia competencies and enhanced clinical management skills with complex dysphagia patients. Competencies in Videofluoroscopy are essential with recognised Critical Care competencies including the management of patients with tracheostomies. An understanding of indication for Fibreoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallow (FEES) is desirable.
You should be able to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills and work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You will be involved in promoting the Speech and Language Therapy service within the hospital and also liaise with the wider Speech and Language Therapy service across Manchester Foundation Trust. You will take responsibility for supervising more junior members of staff and students.

We offer an excellent support network and are committed to clinical supervision and continued professional development. There will also be regular appraisals using personal learning objectives and supervision from senior staff within the team.
