An exciting opportunity has arisen for nursing assistants to work here at the Moorside Unit, Trafford. The posts are permanent and will be based across the unit on both the male and female acute wards at the Moorside Unit. Successful applicants will be have the opportunity of rotating between wards on the unit however if there are sufficient successful applicants then we will be able to offer posts on our other wards at Moorside or elsewhere in the trust if the applicant is interested in this.

The Moorside Unit has one male acute ward, one female acute ward, one Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit, one older adult functional ward and one older adult organic ward. We offer high quality mental health assessment and intervention to adults with a range of mental illness.

We are looking for enthusiastic, caring and motivated nursing assistants who have a positive attitude towards mental health and promoting recovery. Ideal candidates will be dynamic and forward thinking, work effectively in a team, be able to make decisions under pressure, and have excellent communication skills.
