Job Description

King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust part of King's Health Partners Academic Health Sciences Centre (AHSC), is one of the UK’s largest and busiest teaching hospitals with a turnover of nearly £1 billion, 1.5 million patient contacts a year and more than 11,500 staff based across 5 main sites in South East London.

The Trust provides a full range of local hospital services across its different sites, and specialist services from King’s College Hospital (KCH) site in Camberwell and the Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH) site in Bromley.

An opportunity has a risen for an experienced Physiotherapist to join our Respiratory team with a keen interest to further develop knowledge and respiratory skills. The post is based at the Princess Royal University Hospital site as part of Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Physiotherapist who has wide ranging post graduate Physiotherapy experience including critical care, acute and chronic respiratory conditions, and who has good communication and interpersonal skills to join our dynamic team. Working alongside senior Physiotherapists and clinical leads, you will be encouraged and supported to develop your clinical, teaching and service development skills.

You will be responsible for Band 5 appraisal and support in achieving on-call respiratory competencies. Also to support and develop senior physiotherapy assistants and physiotherapy students.

Continuing professional development is encouraged through the appraisal system and there is a well-established in-service education programme.

The Post Holder will be expected to join and partake in our overnight emergency on call rota and will work as part of a seven day rota.
