An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Home Based Treatment Team in Bolton.
You will be a valued member of this progressive and forward thinking community team. You will be an important voice within our MDT meetings, and in clinical discussions within the service. You will support other team members, providing specialist Occupational Therapy advice and play an active part in service development.
Key duties will include:
Providing a specialist Occupational Therapy service within this team, completing assessments and looking at ways to develop the service.
Overseeing the clinical management for a small caseload of patients with identified occupational needs.
To develop and maintain relationships and pathways with other services.
Act as a Gatekeeper, reviewing referrals for acute care.

We have a culture within the service of staff development and progression, this includes supporting a number of our staff members to train as Non-Medical Prescribers. Line management supervision will be provided by the Team Leader and Professional supervision will be provided by the OT Professional Lead.
