Operating Department Practitioner

Unit / Department

Reports to

Theatre Manager / Team Leader with professional accountability to senior members of the clinical team

Position Summary

To provide a high standard of efficient, individualised patient care as part of the clinical team

Qualifications / Key Selection Criteria

Essential

* ODP NVQ level 3 or equivalent

* Sound written and verbal communication skills

* Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required

* Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business * Demonstrated Customer Service skills Basic Computer Skills

Desirables

* Anaesthetic, Recovery or Scrub experience
