We are recruiting for a Senior Cardiac Physiologist who shares our ambition and vision to deliver the Best of Care by the Best People and has the drive to take us forward, by ensuring that the Trust continues to be the first choice for patients and our staff.
The successful candidate will be able to undertake all basic invasive and non-invasive investigations to diagnose heart disease, and produce factual reports as required.
In addition you will be able to echo under supervision and have knowledge of pacing implant and follow up. You will have experience of working in the Cardiac Catheter Suite undertaking routine cases and emergency PCI's
For this role you should have completed a BSc Clinical Physiology or equivalent with a least one year's experience as a Cardiac Physiologist, be on the RCCP register or be eligible to register, hold a current ILS certificate and be willing to work towards BSE and BHRS accreditation for which full training and support will be given
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Cardiac Physiologist to join our friendly team of 17 technical staff and 3.2 WTE administrative staff, working with 6 Cardiologists and 8 Respiratory physicians. We undertake a full range of invasive and non-invasive investigations, and have 9 BSE accredited echo cardiographers at present. We have a large devices service based in a spacious cardiac catheter suite and are the backup pPCI centre in Kent
24/7 working or on call commitments are possible in the future and the successful candidate will be expected to participate.
