Care UK is looking for an Assistant Psychologist to join our multi-disciplined team at HMP The Verne.

You will have a degree in Psychology and be looking to develop your current skills in a unique and ever changing environment. You will have a passion for learning and development, as well as having the initiative to bring new ideas and opinions on how to improve the healthcare services.

What will you be doing?
You will be required to work as part of the team, under the management of the Mental Health Lead and under the supervision of the clinical or chartered Psychologist, within care UK to identify appropriate group interventions and develop the necessary materials for other professionals to be able to deliver these programmes. You will also be asked to provide support to professionals delivering these groups and where necessary modify them based on feedback, you will assist the therapeutic work of the clinical and other disciplines treating patients within the prison service.

This is a full time position. The salary for this role is up to £22,000 per annum - DOE.
