Our physical healthcare services include intermediate care services in Hammersmith & Fulham as part of the Community Independence Service partnership.
Our national, specialist and forensic services include:
  • Medium secure services on the St Bernard's Hospital site in Ealing
  • Services for people with complex and severe personality disorder at the Cassel Hospital in Richmond
  • High secure services at Broadmoor Hospital in Berkshire

We currently have an opportunity as a Bank Psychologist (Band 8A) within the psychology services at Broadmoor Hospital for a qualified clinical or forensic psychologist with experience of working in High secure psychiatric services. The opportunity is for a minimum of four sessions (two days) per week, and remuneration will be on a sessional basis.
Successful candidates will have current registration as a clinical or forensic psychologist with the HCPC, and two or more years' experience of work in medium or high secure psychiatric services. They will be expected to undertake complex and emotionally challenging psychological work in a challenging environment, and will require organisational skills and personal resilience. The successful candidate will undertake individual assessment and therapy work within Psychological Services, carry out audit, service evaluation and/or research, and may be asked to join a Multidisciplinary Team within the hospital to offer psychological advice and treatment planning. Appropriate supervision will be provided.
