Duties and responsibilities: In this role you will be working as part of a close knit specialist oncology and haematology team who ensure a highly personalised service to our patients. <ul> <li>Liaise with specialist nursing staff to ensure appropriate patient workload daily. </li> <li>Utilise your planning skills to ensure all chemotherapy medications are ordered and received ready for treatment. </li> <li>Pre-assessing patients, reviewing test results and assessing their safety to proceed to treatment. </li> <li>Reviewing and releasing medications at discharge</li> <li>Follow up calls with patients to review side effects and ensure they have all the support they need. </li></ul> Who we're looking for: As the Oncology Pharmacist you will be confident in your ability to work autonomously and continue to develop the service. <ul> <li>GPHC registered. </li> <li>Experience within Oncology Pharmacy is essential.</li> <li>Current dispensing and screening experience.</li> <li>2 years post registration experience in Oncology desired.</li></ul> Contract: Part time - 26 hours per week Hours: Monday to Friday, hours between 08:30 - 17:30 Benefits: We offer employees a competitive salary as well as a comprehensive benefits package which includes but is not limited to: <ul> <li>35 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays</li> <li>Employer and employee contributory pension with flexible retirement options</li> <li>'Spire for you' reward platform - discount and cashback for over 1000 retailers</li> <li>Free Bupa wellness screening</li> <li>Private medical insurance</li> <li>Life assurance</li></ul> We commit to our employee's well-being through work life balance, on-going development, support and reward.
