Job Description
Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The Children Looked After (CLA) & Care Leavers Health Service work in partnership with Hertfordshire County Council (HCC) Children's Services to identify the health needs of CLA and Care Leavers.
The post holder will have a pivotal contribution to make in supporting this work by providing an effective and highly confidential administrative role, by coordinating and delivering accurate work in order to meet the timeframes which have been agreed by Commissioners and partner agencies.

Essential criteria
- GCSE qualifications or equivalent
- NVQ Level 4 in Business & Administration or equivalent knowledge and experience
Essential criteria
- Highly Organised, attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload
- Ability to maintain judgement under pressure and work within agreed deadlines
- Computer literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft packages including Word, Outlook and Excel
Essential criteria
- Excellent, Extensive Administration experience. Proactive attitude and the ability to handle a variety of tasks using different systems efficiently in a fast paced environment
Staff recruited from outside the NHS will usually be appointed at the bottom of the pay band. All new appointments (excluding Medical & Dental roles) are subject to a 26 week probation period.
