We are searching for an enthusiastic and experienced Transfusion Practitioner and Biomedical Scientist in Haematology/Transfusion to join our dynamic team in the Pathology Department at Princess Elizabeth Hospital in beautiful Guernsey, UK. What you will do:

* Lead the promotion of safe transfusion practices within the health service and serve as an integral member of the Blood Transfusion Committee.

* Work as part of the Transfusion and Haematology laboratory team, contributing expert advice and support.

* Coordinate the assessment and development of care programmes for patients with complex needs.

* Communicate effectively with patients, service users, and their support networks to build strong therapeutic relationships.

* Manage and lead a team, ensuring staff uphold professional standards and the highest level of care.

* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and audit activities to enhance patient safety.

* Engage in policy and service development, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to drive innovation and improve processes.
