What you will do:

Conduct assessments and diagnose communication and feeding/swallowing disorders in young children.

Create and deliver tailored therapy plans to meet the specific needs of each child.

Collaborate closely with families and caregivers, providing education and support to help manage dysphagia challenges at home.

Work alongside paediatricians, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.

Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in line with regulatory and clinical standards.

Stay current with best practices and research in paediatric speech and language therapy and dysphagia.

Requirements:

HCPC registration is essential.

Paediatric dysphagia experience is required.

A valid UK driving licence is necessary due to travel between settings.

Strong communication skills and a passion for early years intervention are key to success in this role.
