What you will do:

* Cover acute wards, ensuring patient assessments for discharge are conducted efficiently and effectively.

* Employ your acute experience to contribute positively to client care and treatment plans.

* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care and support to individuals in the mental health unit.

* Provide expert therapeutic assessments and interventions, promoting independence and supporting recovery.

* Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, ensuring data is handled confidentially.

* Deliver tailored occupational therapy solutions to meet individual needs and support functional improvement.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you must be HCPC registered and have at least 2 years of experience in a related specialism. Experience in acute mental health settings is a distinct advantage. While not essential, being a car driver is preferable to facilitate travel between sites when necessary.
