Job Opportunity: Band 6 Occupational Therapist in Mental Health - Havant, UK - £26 per hour - Hourly

What you will do:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' occupational needs and develop tailored intervention plans to support their recovery in diverse mental health settings.

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement effective treatment plans using evidence-based and service-user-centred principles.

- Empower service users by setting realistic goals and promoting their independence through therapeutic activities and strategies.

- Manage a defined caseload from acute wards, ensuring accurate record-keeping and progress evaluations to inform ongoing care.

- Provide guidance and support to junior staff and contribute to the continuous improvement of service delivery.

Requirements for the role:

- HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist is essential.

- A degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy.

- Prior experience working as an Occupational Therapist in the UK is required.

- Demonstrable experience in a variety of mental health settings, including acute care, is necessary.

- Proven ability to manage a defined caseload effectively, using evidence-based and user-centred approaches to drive positive outcomes.
