Job Description

Job Title: Staff Grade Psychologist

Location: Dublin North, Dublin North Central, and Dublin Northwest (CHODNCC) areas

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: €56,021 to €98,771 (experience dependent)

CPL in conjunction with The Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT) is seeking a Staff Grade Psychologist to work with children and young people (0-18) with a range of complex needs. The role will involve interdisciplinary team working and family-centred practice.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To psychologically assess clients referred to the CDNT
  • To deliver professional psychology services appropriate to the post in line with best practice
  • To communicate in a skilled, sensitive, and accessible manner with children, families, and other stakeholders concerning assessment, formulation, and treatment plans
  • To comply with the policies, procedures, and safe professional practice of the Irish Healthcare System by adhering to relevant legislation, regulations, and standards

Essential Criteria:

  • Hold a minimum QQI Level 8 qualification in Psychology
  • Have an Irish post-graduate qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in clinical, counselling, or educational psychology or an equivalent qualification validated by the Department of Health
  • Qualifications for this position obtained outside the Republic of Ireland must be validated at the time of application. The application for this post must be inclusive of a letter of validation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong command of English
  • Demonstrate competence and capability of undertaking the duties attached to the office
  • Relevant ICT skills

Salary/Benefits:

  • Range: €56,021 to €98,771 (experience dependent)
  • Pension
  • Annual Leave – 30 days pa
  • 35 hours per week
  • Relocation package - if applicable
