Scrub Theatre Practitioner
The Harborne Hospital Birmingham
Full time, 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: Monday-Friday, Shorter days & Long days, Occasional Saturdays.

W e are delighted to present an exciting opportunity for a Scrub Theatre Practitioner to join our world-class Theatres team at the newly-opened Harborne Hospital, in Birmingham. Covering a range of specialities including Orthopaedics, Cardiology, Gastroenterology and Gynaecology,
We have 4 State of the art Operating Theatres and brand new Hybrid Theatre where our expert teams carry out multiple procedures in one session, including minimally invasive interventions.
Maybe you haven't worked in the private healthcare sector before and would like to see how this compares to the public sector. We have friendly, welcoming and experienced theatre teams happy to support, nurture and develop you. We also offer a Surgical First Assistant Course.
As a Scrub Practitioner, you will be excited to work with world class surgeons, in state of the art environments, you may see some exclusive robotics in practice too and complex breakthrough surgeries. This is a great opportunity to learn and excel in your specialist area.
What You'll Bring:
- Experienced Theatre Nurse, or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP)
- Registered to practice in the UK
- Scrub experience in a range of surgical specialities
- Extensive experience in a similar role
