Role: Advanced Occupational Therapist - Outpatient OR Acute paediatrics
Town / Site: London / The Portland Hospital
Full time: 37.5 hours

We're looking for an Advanced Occupational Therapist to join our team at The Portland Hospital currently rated "Good" by the CQC .

We are looking for a therapist with experience in acute care and rehabilitation OR a therapist with experience in outpatient care and rehabilitation.

As an Advanced Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for the independent management of your caseload (including best practice assessment and treatment interventions), supervision of junior staff and will be responsible in supporting the Lead OT in project management and service development of the larger department. Inpatient care will predominantly consist of a caseload of PICU, cardiac and the NICU if appropriate. The Outpatient caseload will consist predominantly of; neurorehab, Autism, learning difficulties, sensory processing, developmental delay and seating assessments. As we are a supportive and dynamic team, the opportunity to cross cover sections and departments is available.

At the Portland Hospital we have a dynamic team and dynamic caseload offering continuous learning opportunities and the chance to experience a wide range of specialities. We are passionate about learning and create ongoing opportunities for formal and informal learning and CPD opportunities.

What you'll bring:
• HCPC registered
• Relevant Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Experience as Band 7 Paediatric Occupational Therapist
• Experience working in a hospital environment
• Experience in service development
• Good communication skills
• Willingness to learn and work as an MDT
