Job Description

The salary for this permanent Occupational Therapist job is £28,407 - £35,392 per annum.

Main Duties:

* Conduct Assessments : Perform both standardised and non-standardised assessments to evaluate patient needs.

* Develop Treatment Plans : Create and implement person-centred treatment plans tailored to individual patients.

* Facilitate Therapy Sessions : Lead both group and one-on-one therapy sessions to support patient progress.

* Participate in Team Meetings : Contribute actively to multi-disciplinary team meetings to coordinate care.

* Supervise and Collaborate : Work closely with an occupational therapy assistant and provide supervision to other occupational therapy staff as needed.

* Work Autonomously : While collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team including nurses, healthcare assistants, psychiatrists, specialty doctors, fitness instructors, and activity coordinators, also take initiative in applying your occupational therapy skills independently.

* Complete Thorough Documentation : Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and therapy outcomes.

Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:

* Degree in Occupational Therapy ort equivalent

* Registered with HCPC

* Experience in Mental Health

* Good communication skills
