This well-respected organisation is recognised for its commitment to creating rehabilitative environments that foster real, impactful change. They are focused on progressive, therapeutic solutions that address the complex needs of those in their care.

Why Join This Client?

* Competitive Salary: Up to £58,000, depending on experience.

* Work-Life Balance: Monday to Friday, with a structured 40-hour workweek.

* Flexibility: Primarily site-based with opportunities for some remote work.

About the Role

As a Forensic Psychologist, you'll be instrumental in developing new, innovative programs within the prison psychology team. You'll help establish a specialised unit that promotes psychologically led rehabilitation, enhances multi-disciplinary collaboration, and supports professional growth within the team. Additionally, you'll work directly with prisoners with complex mental health needs, supervise Forensic Psychologists in Training, and support team members with challenging cases.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee and guide Forensic Psychologists in Training, supporting their professional development.

* Provide supervision and expertise to staff handling complex cases, including personality disorders and neurodiverse needs.

* Conduct essential assessments (HCR20, PCL-R, IPDE, SARA) and create tailored treatment plans.

* Lead and contribute to forensic assessments and Offending Behaviour Programmes (OBP) with psychological oversight.

* Collaborate closely with internal and external partners to enhance the rehabilitation process.

* Deliver training on managing challenging behaviours and complex case formulations.

Requirements:

* HCPC Registered Forensic Psychologist.

* Must have UK experience working as a forensic psychologist.

* Deep understanding of psychological theories related to personality disorders, violent behavior, and neurodiversity.

* Skilled in the administration and interpretation of psychological assessments.

If you're ready to make a lasting impact, we'd love to hear from you. Send your CV or reach out with any questions - this is an opportunity to be part of a pioneering team that truly values psychological insight and rehabilitation.
