Job Title: General Practitioner with Dermoscopy Expertise
Location: Dublin

Position Overview: We are seeking a full-time General Practitioner (GP) with specialised expertise in Dermoscopy, including mole mapping, skin cancer identification, and the proficient use of a dermatoscope. This role offers the opportunity to work within a leading dermatology clinic, collaborating with top dermatologists to deliver high-quality care with two vibrant locations to choose from.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed skin examinations using dermatoscope to assess moles and other skin lesions.
- Conduct mole mapping and ongoing skin surveillance to facilitate the early detection of skin cancer.
- Accurately diagnose various forms of skin cancer, including melanoma, and manage patient referrals as needed.
- Utilise a dermatoscope to enhance the precision and effectiveness of skin assessments.
- Collaborate closely with dermatologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain meticulous patient records, documenting all findings and treatment plans.
- Educate patients on skin cancer prevention, skin care routines, and the importance of regular check-ups.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree with full registration as a GP with the Irish Medical Council (IMC).
- Specialised training or significant experience in Dermoscopy.
- Proficiency in using a dermatoscope for detailed skin examinations and mole mapping.
- Strong diagnostic skills, particularly in identifying and managing skin cancer.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex medical information clearly to patients.
