Theatre Healthcare Support Worker
Princess Grace Hospital, London
Full time 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: Monday - Saturday
Permanent
Salary: Competitive + Shift allowance.

We are seeking a Theatre Healthcare Support Worker to join our Theatre Team at the Princess Grace Hospital, which has been rated "Good" by the CQC. Our theatres offer a dynamic and professional environment, equipped with state-of-the-art technology that is truly unmatched. You will be working with Complex surgeries and World Class Surgeons.

The Princess Grace Hospital is renowned as one of London's premier multidisciplinary private hospitals. With Seven theatres across 2 floors and 2 Recovery Suites, a robotic surgery suite, we provide a cutting-edge setting for surgical excellence.

What you will do:

  • Cleaning of theatre and recovery areas before and after operating sessions, also adhering to the weekly cleaning schedule.
  • Stocking of cupboards and stock containers against agreed stock levels.
  • Collecting and escorting the patient, and assisting with transferring of the patient from trolley to table under supervision of trained staff.
  • Assisting with the safe positioning of patient on operating table.
  • Acting as circulating person for the scrub team and within the scope of the role.

What you'll bring:
  • Health Care Support Worker experience in an Operating Theatre
  • 2 years Experience working in Theatres as a HCA, Or significant experience working as a HCA in a Hospital Healthcare Setting.
  • Knowledges on Healthcare Computer Systems, Meditech, Theatre Man, Microsoft, outlook, Infection prevention control knowledge.
