Position Overview:

  • Position Title: Senior Podiatrist
  • Location: Tasmania, Australia
  • Reports to: Manager - Podiatry Services

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and provide high-quality Podiatry services to inpatients, focusing on vulnerable groups.
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate programs addressing the podiatric needs of the population.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to deliver flexible healthcare programs, meeting local needs.
  • Ensure compliance with professional and ethical standards, maintaining a safe working environment.

Essential Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification approved by the Podiatry Board of Australia.
  • Registered with the Podiatry Board of Australia.
  • Postgraduate experience.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Current Working with Children Registration.
  • Current Driver’s License.
  • Endorsement for scheduled medicines.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Demonstrated high-level professional skills and experience in various podiatry assessments and interventions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Commitment to workplace safety, quality improvement, research, and ongoing professional development.
